last year in uni. everyone seemed to be alienated from other people. those who had been good friends frighted for the one chance of work. i looked it on coldly. he decided to go back to where he was from.how ridiculous that i felt nothing.

another term passed. i met his father one day and he said he was back again. one blazing afternoon,i went to visit him in his home.
"hi, long time no see. how are you?" his mother said.
"i am fine, auntie. where is he?"
"he has gone swimming."
"where?"
"in the river, just down there. " she pointed the way.

the last day, i did not see him off at the railway station. i wandered in the campus,feeling desperately. all the friends were leaving me. how could i have the strength to live in the same place in the future, where all those happy and unhappy things had taken place.

i could see him out and away,although there were many people on the beach.
when i approached him, he was shocked.
"how could you find me?"
"i went to your home and your mother told me you were swimming."
"but how could you see me here, so many people."
i grinned and said:"i just can see. i can see whatever i want to see."
