特点1、不缩写、不省略、不简称、不昵称

病句：What's more, he is more efficient.
更正：What is more, he is more efficient.

其他例子：
hasn’t－has not
didn’t－did not
can’t－cannot
at the beginning of Aug.－at the beginning of August

病句：I think, sports have advantages and disadvantages
更正：I believe that sports have both advantages and disadvantages.
引导词that不能省略

病句：My dad called me yesterday and said my mum was sick.
更正：My father called me yesterday and said that my mother was sick.

特点2、不滥用阿拉伯数字

5 types of trends－five types of trends

例：

病句：I have no idea if you like it or not
更正：I have no idea whether you like it

特点5、不用含义模糊的表达

病句：I hope you can forgive me for this kind of thing.
更正：I hope you can forgive me for the delay

病句：We can protect animals from hunting and so on.
更正：We can protect animals from hunting and other dangers.

病句：Some decisions are likely to affect our work, our life, and so on.
更正：Some decisions are likely to affect our work and life.

特点6、注重句子的多样性

简单句：Children who live in the countryside can grow up in fresh air. This is good to their health.
复杂句：Children living in the countryside can grow up in fresh air, which is good to their health.

简单句：You like that movie. I hate it.
复杂句：You like that movie but I hate it.

简单句：The group of geese ate too much. They became too fat to fly.
复杂句：Because the group of geese ate too much, they became too fat to fly.
